Crowns & Bridges

Professional Cleaning

At Campbelltown Family Dental we understand how teeth become weak…

Teeth are made from some of the strongest substances in the body but even they are not completely resistant to the times and trails of ageing and poor oral hygiene. There are many reasons why teeth become weak over time but regardless of the cause it’s important that you restore your teeth before you leave yourself susceptible to tooth fractures/breakages.

Teeth are designed to be strong and durable because they play one of the most difficult roles in the human body. Teeth work to cut and mash food so the body can digest it.

Crowns and bridges are fixtures designed to strengthen and protect your weakened teeth…

Crowns and bridges are prosthetic solutions that can be made of porcelain, gold or composite materials and are used to restore strength to damaged teeth. The crown is cemented onto the top of the tooth to restore the appearance and function of the tooth. The bridge is a combination of crowns and a whole prosthetic tooth that is used to replace an entire missing tooth; a bridge fills the gap left by missing teeth. At McCullough Dental Centre we offer both bridges and crowns to our patients who need to restore their function.
